Spitirual RX
Have you been burned or burned out by the church? Maybe you felt unwelcomed by your congregation. Maybe you felt manipulated or disillusioned by a pastor. Maybe you had questions or doubts you weren’t allowed to surface or simply outgrew what you were taught to believe. You are not alone.
Spiritual Rx is a drop-in support/discussion group for people who have left the church but miss having a spiritual connection and community. It is a safe space to process experiences, ask questions, and hash out tough issues with others who have felt hurt by the church. And, like a salve for the soul, Spiritual Rx is designed to help you heal. If you would like to find your way back to God, and are ready to put your toe in the water again, please join us.

Get well to feel good and find peace
Get Well, Concord is an initiative of First Presbyterian Church to promote the health and well-being of our congregation and our community. We believe that God wishes peace and wholeness (shalom) for every person. We recognize that body, mind, and spirit are all connected. It’s hard to be at peace when one or more aspects of our lives are unwell. That’s why we, want to lend what we know about the power of community to assist each other and our neighbors in getting well.
